Small handmade bamboo lamp made according to traditional manufacturing technology from Mimou. The lamp consists of a bamboo frame that is covered in thin bamboo paper in maché technique. In this collection of Maipai lamps, Mimou takes advantage of traditional manufacturing techniques from Thailand and collaborates with skilled craftsmen in small-scale manufacturing.

The lamp is available in three different sizes

The lamp can be used both for ceiling hangings and as a screen on any lamp base, depending on how the two bamboo sticks are mounted in the frame

Ceiling hanger: Thread through any cord with lamp holder. Insert the bamboo needles in a cross and fasten with the string around the cord. Keep in mind that depending on where you tie the wire around the cord determines how far down the lamp holder will be in the screen.

On lamp base: Insert bamboo needles straight. Then screw the screen into the lamp holder on any lamp base.
